The
French language version of Brians Diary came with a CD of music that was mentioned
in the text. In all there are six tracks of music. These feel like works in
progress or personal recordings, of which Eno apparently keeps a huge number
in his studio.

Ikebukuro
/ Swarowski Soup
|
Based on Ikebukuro from Shutov Assembly with other elements that Eno describes as a 'soup'. |
| 25 April |
Orchestral
Marstall
|
The diary talks about adding in sounds of crickets and thunder, but the track sounds like MIDI orchestra voices in a slow pensive 'filmic' track. |
| 29 September |
Cold
Jazz 2
|
For the 'Heat' soundtrack, described in the diary as 'having a ridiculously athletic chromatic runs'. |
| 25 April |
Mad
Jazz Piano
|
Similar to Cold Jazz 2 but with piano runs. |
| 4 August |
With
Howie B
|
Result of a jamming seesion with turntablist Howie B. Very nearly dance |
| 27 September |
Heat
Beat
|
Edgy percussive track from the 'Heat' soundtrack. |
The French Diary and CD seems to be still available from European book sellers, I got mine from proxis.be last year in Belgium and the French arm of Amazon etc would probably have it as well.
