This LP was released in 1979 to accompany a multimedia presentation of a "In A Land Of Clear Colors" a sci-fi novel by Robert Sheckley. It was presented at a Brighton (UK) Sci-fi exhibition by the 'El Mensajaro' gallery in Ibiza. The recording itself was extracts from the text read by Peter Sinfield with music by Brian Eno. The record was also accompanied by a booklet of illustrations by Leonor Quiles and was limited to 1000 copies.

Below is the information that was included with the LP (this is probably the promotional flyer):

JKF on the Nerve Net Mailing list obtained a copy in the early 1990's and noted that "there are "excerpts" from on-land. Slightly remixed (oversaturated even) moments from two pieces, easily recognizable if your familiar with the on-land release." Apparently the music is very similar to the later release 'A Clearing' a track on the 1982 recording -On Land-.

At some point the LP was reissued as a CD, but was only given one print run. Copies of both LP and CD versions come up on auction sites from time to time.
